Hi, my name is Peter Freudenberger and I'm just a dad who loves baking! I found myself working overnight shifts for a German bakery in South Florida after being in mostly office jobs. The kitchen soon became my home and I couldn't stop.
A little about me...
I have an intense passion for cooking and baking, but particularly baking bread products. Anyone who has kneaded dough knows the feeling and also the anticipation watching your bread rise in the oven. My favorite baked good to make is a nice traditional German pretzel. If you didn't know, the trick to that signature chewy and tangy crust is by dipping them into a lye solution before baking. Who knew something like that could make something so delicious?!?!
